Drum Beats+ (Rhythm Metronome, Loops & Grooves Machine) App Reviews

I am very much desapointed with this App. It´s probably good for begginers, but not for professionals. So little good rhytms, few options, and the Rhythm&Timing is ridiculous. Just buy this if you are a begginer. Also it does not work when you “drag” the wave to Pro Tools. Pro Tools do not reconize this file. I am frustrated… I lost 15U$.

I like the 5bpm intervals and the intuitive-works-out-of-the-box approach. I like that this app doesn’t crash. I don’t agree with those who want further bells and whistles. All I need is here. As a bassist, I enjoy practicing to this over a metronome because I get a feel of playing with a drummer, which is what I do when I’m playing in jam sessions/live.

This is a great product for beginners like be but for the next release it would be great to go down with tempo to 40 for training reasons

Great app! But there is 2 things i needed: - An equalizer for drum beats or a mixer for each drum to make it louder or lower. - More tempo possibilities (87, 93, 111…etc) Thank you!

As a beginning bass player I was in need of a simple to use and effective drum machine to improve my pracatice and get away from the metronome for a more enjoyable means to practice, and this app provided that at a very afforable price. The clerk at the music store talked me out of a $150 machine until I looked at he available apps as a better substitute. His honesty and advice saved me money I need for other equipment and I am completly happy with this app. You cant go wrong for the reasonable price before you even think about another product. Thanks for a great app that does exactly what it advertises...

I needed something midway between GarageBand and a metronome, and this is perfect. We use it to practice dancing - its nice to vary tempos, rhythms, and to do so quickly without fuss. Really nice!

Ok so I bought this app and had problems with the tempos playing twice as fast as they should. I gave the app a pretty harsh review. Next day got an email from the developer saying that this is an issue they are working on and can I give some them some feedback to help fix the bug. I have to say that in itsself is pretty impressive. It is version 1.0 after all. So at the very least Ill give them 5 stars for customer service and would give better then 3 stars when the app gets fixed.

I have only had the app for less than a week but have come back to it again and again. Even if all you know is a few chords just turn the gain up way high and improv with a nice sustained beat is what this app does for me. I am looking to improve my guitar sound and this i think will definitely help out!!! Thanks!

I am really imress by the program, very versatile; now I do not have to use a drum machine all the time to practice, saving on electricity, LOL. Once I used a high end sound card I was really happy with the purchase. I love the many styles of music included, keep on adding more features please. It is very cost effective, I just started to learn how to produce music and I hate turning one of my drum machines just to practice. This app is perfect.

Under HOW IT WORKS: 2.) Tap a Tempo to change the speed I was looking for a tap tempo metronome and this seemed like a nice package… except it ISN’T a TAP TEMPO metronome. There’s nowhere to TAP a TEMPO! Now I’ve spent $9 on a metronome that doesn’t do the ONE THING I needed!! ANGRY.

This app isnt exactly anything new and could use some added features that I wont bother adding what so many other drum samplers offer BUT for the price beats, and samples that sound great, then you get your moneys worth! considering the outrageous prices of othersMORE METAL PLEASE love the randomizer that always creates a new swing that is tough for even seasoned drummers love the drag and drop, keep up the good work

Ive been playing for 30 years and i have always wanted this exact thing!… Just something simple with a lot of different beats that i could practice to. Its also a great writing tool.

Whether you are learning new chord progressions, riffs, or if you are a closet/hobbyist guitar player like myself the variety of drum samples within this software’s music genres offerings are just fantastic. I used it yesterday, today and most likely tomorrow thanks kindly for all your hard work and time in putting this together.

I use this app all of the time. Almost never use a straight metronome anymore when practicing guitar. There’s so many varieties of grooves that it’s fun to just try an new groove and start riffing to it. The only 2 things that I can see making it even better are: 1) Provide sets of bass grooves for each drum groove. This would make practicing rhythm guitar awesome. 2) Provide an “increment tempo” feature that would increment 10 BMP every ‘x’ bars.

I bought this app and had a fast tempo issue on my Mac Pro from day 1. I contacted the company 1 year ago and although receptive they say they can not figure this out. Ive asked for a refund but they wont give one...I corresponded with the company but still no resolution 12 months later.... they told me they were aware of the issue but I still have no fix and no app that works. Well if your selling apps and your aware of the problem and dont fix it what does that say?? I would not buy this app if you have a mac until they assure you the issue is fixed.

I just updated it all excited to practice…now it crashs everytime….Cant use it. Dont update it if you have 10.7!

I have been using this App for a year or so now, every day, for practice. I think it is easy to use and a very fast way to get straight to practicing my guitar without any hassle. I am not interested in learning how to write a drum part in a drum program nor have the time to do it. I just find the rhythm I want and go. I have never had a problem with it in either the old or new version for crashing or not working as it should. This is a great App and I recommend it to anyone.
